Resin Bound Permeable Benefits
Resin bound paving is produced by blending natural stone aggregates with a specially developed clear resin. Once set, the surface remains porous, allowing rainwater to drain through naturally and reducing the risk of standing water or flooding, while maintaining excellent strength and resistance to cracking.
The prepared mixture is carefully applied over a suitable base to an average depth of around 20mm, creating a seamless, even finish. The finished surface is hard-wearing, slip-resistant, visually appealing, and requires minimal upkeep, making it a more environmentally conscious choice compared to many traditional surfacing options.

VubaMac
This is the base course layer over the capping layer. The VubaMac can be spread over the surface using a lute, and can be compacted with a roller, trowel or power trowel.
SRM Layer
The SRM spreads the load and allows fast overlayment, as well as providing a structural skeleton to the system. Roll the mesh out over the VubaMac while wet, and set it in place.
Capping Layer
This is a 1” layer of 5-10mm angular stone, well compacted on to the existing sub-base.
Geotextile Membrane
A Geotextile Membrane ought to be installed from the farthest edge of the perimeter throughout the project, it is of high importance.
Sub-Soil
It is important to determine the type of sub soil, as this will influence the specification of the sub-base and/or ground drainage requirements.
